International Academy of Philosophy (Internationale Akademie für Philosophie / IAP)

The International Academy of Philosophy (IAP) is a small private specialist institution in Vaduz dedicated to philosophy — particularly the realist phenomenological tradition. Founded in its Liechtenstein form in 1986 (with roots in an earlier philosophical academy), it offers focused graduate study in philosophy (MA/PhD level) to a small international student body. One of the very few institutions worldwide dedicated specifically to realist phenomenology and classical philosophical traditions; attracts a niche international scholarly community. Programmes offered in German and, for some, English given the international student base.
