Founded in 1993 from the merger of earlier military academies, the National Defence University is Finland's specialist higher education institution for military officer education. Approximately 1,200 students (cadets and continuing officers). Particularly significant context: Finland joined NATO in 2023 after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, abandoning its 75-year post-WW2 policy of military non-alignment. MPKK's curriculum has been adapting to NATO standards.
Always confirm a university's current accreditation with the named national authority, and that the qualification is recognised in the country where you intend to use it, before enrolling or paying any fees. AlmiStudy records information to help you check — it is not an endorsement.

Why this is free

AlmiStudy is part of AlmiWorld. It is free because its purpose is to help people find their way to education — and the wider project supports the Shamool Foundation, a free school for street children in Lahore (60 students, lunch, books and uniforms provided).
