Faculties: letters arts and humanities, juridical economic and management sciences, plus the École Supérieure d'Agriculture de Kef and École Supérieure des Ingénieurs de l'Équipement Rural de Medjez El Bab. Significant agricultural and rural-development focus relevant to the northwestern region. Smaller than the older Tunisian universities but plays an important access role for inland and rural students.
