Founded in 2006, the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula is named after Bishop Juraj Dobrila (1812-1882), a 19th-century Istrian intellectual who championed Croatian cultural rights under Habsburg rule. Approximately 4,000 students. Located in Pula — the largest city of Istria with extensive Roman heritage (the Pula Arena is one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, capacity 23,000). Pula has a significant Italian-speaking minority; the university uniquely offers programmes in Italian alongside Croatian.
Always confirm a university's current accreditation with
the named national authority, and that the qualification is recognised in
the country where you intend to use it, before enrolling or paying any
fees. AlmiStudy records information to help you check — it is not an
endorsement.
Why this is free
AlmiStudy is part of AlmiWorld. It is free because its purpose is to
help people find their way to education — and the wider project
supports the Shamool Foundation, a free school for street children in
Lahore (60 students, lunch, books and uniforms provided).
