Formed on 1 January 2021 through the merger of Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) and Institute of Technology Tralee (ITT). Approximately 18,000 students across campuses in Cork and Kerry. Includes the Cork School of Music and the Crawford College of Art and Design (both with significant Irish artistic traditions). The National Maritime College of Ireland is part of MTU — Ireland's specialist maritime studies institution.
