Founded 1965 (one of Mali's oldest grandes écoles). Mali's flagship public polytechnic institute for agriculture, rural development, animal sciences, forestry, and applied agronomic research. Located in Katibougou, Koulikoro Region (~60 km north of Bamako). One of three original Grandes Écoles of Malian higher education (alongside ENSUP and ENI-ABT) that pre-date the 1996 founding of Université de Bamako. Recognised by MESRS.
